Here’s a new personal watercraft
that doesn’t burn gasoline,
pollute the water, or make noise.
It’s a human-powered hydrofoil
ornithopter. Got that?
It’s a spidery aluminum contraption with wings that fly through the water as you jump up and down on the platform above. You jump off a dock with it and skim over the top of the water.
If you’re good enough, you
ride it back to the dock and jump
off again. If you’re not that good
yet, you wipe out and swim it
back to the dock for another try.
It’s great exercise and lots of fun.
