1. Knit the eggshell and the chicken body. The shell of the egg and the body of the chicken are identical, except for the colors you’ll use. Use white yarn for the egg, then repeat the pattern in yellow for the chicken’s body.

NOTE: Basic pattern techniques in this project include knitting in the round, I-cord, and felting, plus some simple sewing and embroidery. The finished size is about 5½" tall.

CO 32 sts onto 3 dpns and join in a rnd. Unless noted below, knit all sts.
