The Paper Bag Scrapbook
Refashion lunch sacks to hold memories instead of
sandwiches.
BY MARCIA FRIEDMAN
The humble brown paper lunch sack has become a
bright star in the scrapbooking world. Forget the
fancy $8 to $20 store-bought mini albums. Using
a few of these familiar bags, a glue stick, some embellishments,
and decorative papers, you can create a unique showcase for
your photos.
Paper bag scrapbooks have become one of my favorite gift
ideas; I’ve used them for hostess thank yous, bridal and baby
shower presents, and family Christmas gifts. There are endless
possibilities for page design, and because of the size, they’re a
snap to assemble. Plus, one end of the page serves as a pocket
for memorabilia, journaling cards, or extra photos.
