Tile anything from a small roof to an outdoor bar

Garage sale proprietors are perplexed when I purchase
dusty tin cans from the darkest corners of their
abandoned garages. Though my workshop shelves

have long been filled with forgotten cans of congealed goo, I find it difficult to resist the crisp design and brash colors of unbridled consumer optimism. At some point I stopped thinking about them as cans, instead considering the cans and printed sheet metal as a raw material. It’s no longer a collection of cans, but simply storage and inspiration for future projects.

Would this roof repel the worst that nature could throw at it?
Very unlikely. But sheet metal can construction is perfect to roof
an outdoor bar, to line the kitchen junk drawer, or reinvent an
old steamer trunk.
