Ic a gan’t stop needle felting. The addiction metaphor is spookily ppropriate when you consider that this craft involves dan-erous needles. It’s amazing what you can do with the tiniest amount of wool fiber: using a bit of fluff the size of something a friend might pick off your sweater, you can make art. It’s all in the relationship between the needle and the fiber.
But creating a large piece of fabric with a single needle can take a long time, delaying the fun, decorative details. It’s like being on your way to a big party, but having to stop to have your teeth cleaned on the way. If you use multiple needles, it’s easier to satisfy the immediate-gratification baby that lives within us all. The necessary tools can be pricey to buy, but they’re really simple to make.
