Beach Ball Bench
Upholster and assemble a modern vinyl seat.

Although this bench isn’t actually made from beach balls, it is evocative of the classic summer standard. Add a dash of modernism and a pinch of bowling alley utilitarianism, and you’ve got a sturdy piece of upholstered furniture for less effort than you’d expend rolling 3 frames.

If you find upholstery daunting, rest assured that there is no
tuft-and-fold trickery here; if you can passably wrap a birthday gift,
consider yourself pre-qualified. As far as assembly goes, a staple
gun and a drill are about as complicated as things are gonna get.
Foam rubber can be had at many fabric or futon stores, and
the pipe legs and flanges can be purchased, cut-to-size, at any
hardware store worth its weight in cheap goods.
